Award-winning genius and eccentric Johann Le Guillerm (France) presents breathtaking constructions in the mesmerising circus performance TERCES - all in his own circus tent at Noorderplantsoen.

Surrounded by more than 100 floating instruments, Australian percussionist Matthias Schack-Arnott gives you an unforgettable sonic embrace, where his soundscape takes you to a totally different dimension for a moment.

Tomoko Mukaiyama | SADO (Nederland)
A story about unattainable love, hunted by ghosts and monsters, told through real-life Japanese puppetry Joruri, electronic music, installation and anime: Tomoko Mukaiyama presents the premiere of SADO at Noorderzon.
Noorderzon 2023
Noorderzon takes place this year from 17 to 27 August. This year, we take you to overwhelming theatre, engage in conversation in the &Society programme, introduce you to new local talent, dance under the stars at the Apollo stage and toast together to what was and what is yet to come. And all together with you, the visitor. We look forward to seeing you again!
Ticket Sales
Ticket sales are also in stages this year, with the 17th of the month playing a key role. The entire main programme goes on sale on 17 June, and on 17 July you can buy tickets for the festival's full programme. We will announce more and more programme and details in the run-up to the festival.
