Programme 2022 completed

Next month it’s already going to happen!

Next month from Thursday the 18th until Sunday the 28th of August it’s on: the 32nd edition of the Noorderzon Festival of Performing Arts & Society. After two years there’s going to be a full blown Noorderzon again. At the end of the summer the Noorderplantsoen and several Groningen city centre locations are once again going to be the setting for an eleven-day journey of discovery along a wide range of exciting international, national and local acts and performers.

Today we can proudly present the full programme, which can be found at this page as well as in the Noorderzon Supplement – added as a supplement to our local newspaper (the Dagblad van het Noorden - edition Stad Groningen) and available from next week onwards at different locations in Groningen. Tickets for the main international programme as well as for the rest of the programme are already available online now.

Lay out of the Noorderplantsoen festival area
Unlike last year, 2022 once again appears to allow a full blown festival without any restrictions. A number of changes and improvements have been implemented by the Noordzon organisation – the most important ones are listed below.

The northern part of the Noorderplantsoen festival area harbours the following festival sites: the Pollux mirror tent, the Apollo open air stage, the Paradijsvogel and De Raaf terraces as well as the Podium De Raaf. The southern part offers a special kids area including De Kleine Beer, the De Vliegende Vis and Kameleon playgrounds, the Callisto music stage and the Castor mirror tent as well as many terraces. Indeed (for those familiar with former Noorderzon editions), since 2021 we have parted from a number of festival locations: the Romeo Tent, the Dok and the containers along the Leliesingel. For more practical info, please check festivalinfo.

Please check the full programme here. On the 18th of July – at the latest – all dates and times can be found here, as ticket sales will then start at noon.
