Elite sport meets dance and acrobatics. Le Patin Libre, founded by former competitive figure skaters from Montréal, trade their blades for wheels and let themselves be carried away by the sound of cello. Glitter, scores and competition are far behind them: instead, they go for a playful, raw street act. Under the trees of the Noorderplantsoen, on Noorderzon's new outdoor stage, that freedom gets an extra summery layer.

By the large pond in the Noorderplantsoen, headphones on, surrounded by water and light, you'll experience how Catalan duo Cabosanroque and Studio Animal take the traffic light out of its context and turn it into a sensory instrument.

What happens when a digital voice brings a group of strangers together? In this audiovisual experience, Sigrid Koster and Jochem Knoef combine installation art, folklore and electronic music into a contemporary ritual. Through image, sound and stories of origin, you're invited to enter a temporary world.
