Byinoar

Jaap van der Velde, known for his work with The Homesick and Real Farmer, creates experimental choral pop under the name Byinoar. Using a vocoder, effects, loopers, and a cheap microphone, he builds layer upon layer of distorted voices into a singular vocal ensemble.

Atmospheric choral textures collide with a raw DIY approach, resulting in music that is at once grand, strange, melodic, and subtly unsettling. Byinoar transforms modest means into a futuristic sound world filled with voices, repetition, and unexpected vocal harmonies.
