Je suis une montagne

Eric Arnal-Burtschy

A piece not just for the eyes, but for the whole body. When ‘immersive’ becomes just another tech buzzword, Je suis une montagne uses technology to go deeper.

What if you could become a mountain?

Heat, rain and wind press against your skin. Something rumbles far away. A precisely programmed choreography of light makes a mockery of time - and all is experienced from behind your eyelids.

Je suis une montagne is a physical experience as much as a performance: French whizz-kid and choreographer Éric Arnal-Burtschy reshapes time and perception through storming the senses with technical precision. Built with custom light systems and atmospheric design, a shifting landscape unfolds where day turns to night in a breath, and the body becomes just one part of something much larger.

A powerful reflection on our fleeting existence, and our relationship with nature, this piece gently rearranges the scale of daily life—inviting the rush of now to dissolve into something slower, deeper, and strangely comforting.

Je suis une Montagne evokes in me mineral mysteries, deep rumblings, millennial rhythms, telluric vibrations, and ephemeral meteors.
