Nagham Choir is an intercultural choir from Groningen, founded in 2023 by cultural coach and musician Karam Shebat. The choir brings together singers from diverse cultural backgrounds who connect through the universal language of music.
With a vibrant repertoire featuring music from Turkey, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Kurdistan, Egypt, Palestine, Greece, Tunisia and Sudan, complemented by Dutch songs in a surprising new arrangement, Nagham Choir takes audiences on a musical journey filled with emotion, connection and cultural exchange.
