tays is an alternative hip-hop artist with dreamy productions, boombap and sharp, personal lyrics. His work explores themes of youth, transience and the search for a home. His live shows are energetic and sincere, with room for reflection, playfulness and bravado. tays brings a combination of introspective and philosophical lyrics, provocative here and there, with the occasional brag & boast.

Alexander Moto
Alexander Moto is a distinctive voice in Dutch-language hip-hop. The artist from Friesland combines his love for language and music into sharp, reflective tracks full of layered lyrics. Sometimes razor-sharp, sometimes mysterious, but always honest. What started with writing stories and playing piano as a child grew into a powerful form of self-expression through rap. Alexander doesn’t beat around the truth—he may wrap it up in a few lines that make you pause and think.

Noordstaat is the hub in the North where emerging and starting artists accelerate and develop their talent. We provide coaching, promotion, rehearsal and studio facilities, and connect artists and acts with venues and festivals. Become part of our community and reach your goals. Hit the North is the premier talent development program for artists in the North of the Netherlands. Participants in Hit the North take part in intensive bootcamps, workshops, and coaching sessions focused on artistic growth and business skills. The goal is for young talents to progress to regional and national stages after completing the program. One of the performances takes place at ESNS and one of the Liberation Festivals in Northern Netherlands.
