Zeevonk is a single-celled creature that glows in the sea when shaken. When one sea sparkle starts to glow, others follow. This is exactly what Zeevonk Records aims to do: to collectively bring the alternative music and art scene to life. And what better place to do this than at Noorderzon?

For the third year running, Zeevonk Records is presenting a range of musical and performance acts in a double container, this time in collaboration with a whole host of Dutch record labels and art collectives. This year, the event will run for the entire duration of the festival – once again, twice as long as last year. So even more fun, love and chaos guaranteed!

Please note:

• This year, for the first time, you can buy tickets online in advance for all container performances taking place before 5.00 pm.
• On each day of the festival, tickets for performances after 5.00 pm on that day will also go on sale online – and at the ticket points on the festival site.

Zeevonk Records is a music label and creative collective based in Groningen. It comprises musicians and artists Eva Waterbolk, Anne Caesar van Wieren and Hugo Heinen, who are involved in various Groningen-based acts. Zeevonk Records aims to bring people together and support one another in showcasing music and art. They do this by releasing records, organising label nights and release shows at venues such as Vera Groningen, and collaborating with creative individuals from various subcultures across the Netherlands.
