Here you will find all information about buying tickets for the Noorderzon programme. Want to buy tickets straight away? Go to our programme page and select your preferred performances. Enjoy!
The Noorderplantsoen is freely accessible. There you will also find an extensive free programme to visit. You do need a ticket for most of our programme. We keep the entrance prices as low as possible. All prices are indicated in the programme.
Online ticket sales
Tickets for the Noorderzon 2024 programme can be purchased online via noorderzon.nl/programme. Tickets remain available online until right before a performance starts. So it is possible – when a performance isn’t sold out – to buy a ticket via your phone on the spot. Tickets are available via your computer, tablet or mobile phone. Payments can be made directly online via iDEAL (via your own bank) or by credit card (Visa and Mastercard). Service costs differ: €1 for each completed online transaction via iDEAL and €1.50 for payments by credit card.
E-tickets
Noorderzon uses an online ticketing system, which means the tickets are not sent to you by mail: after purchasing your e-tickets, you will directly receive them in the inbox of the e-mail address you used to order them. Still didn’t receive them after 24 hours? Then please check your spam box as well as whether your payment has gone through and the e-mail address you have given is right. Ticked all these off and still didn’t receive anything? Please contact us via tickets@noorderzon.nl.
In order to be admitted to a performance, it is required to produce an e-ticket (printed or on your phone). Please set the display of your phone as bright as possible, thus allowing us to scan your ticket more easily. Note: the e-ticket is mailed to you by PDF attachment – the mail itself is not a valid ticket!
Important dates
Ticket sales are also in stages this year, with the 22th of the month playing a key role. The entire main programme goes on sale on 22 June*, and on 22 July* you can buy tickets for the festival's full programme. We will announce more and more programme and details in the run-up to the festival.

How can I buy tickets?
• Select a performance or show at noorderzon.nl/programme
• Click on the ‘purchase tickets’ button on the right.
• This will open a window named ‘shopping cart’.
• If you do not yet have a username and password, you can create these here.
• If you would like to purchase more tickets, click on ‘continue shopping’ to return to the programme overview.
• The tickets you have already selected will remain in your shopping cart.
• If you decide not to purchase any more tickets, click on ‘Shopping cart’ at the top of the screen to return to the tickets selected earlier.
• Then follow the steps for ticket payment.
• Once you have successfully placed an order, you will always receive a confirmatory email.
Ticketsale during Noorderzon
De Winkel (The Shop) – tickets, info & more
Prefer live contact? At De Winkel (The Shop), we are happy to welcome you every day from 22 August - 1 September from 2 until 10 PM (weekends 1 PM). Here, all your questions regarding ticketing and Noorderzon merchandise will be addressed. In addition, a lot of fun items created by the Vera Art Division, Boekhandel Riemer, NAIS and Jeanet Metselaar can be purchased here.
Tickets for De Speelweide (children's programme)
Tickets for the children’s programme at De Speelweide can only be purchased via Noorderzon.nl and De Winkel. You pay for the other small performances and activities on location with special coins. You can buy these coins at the cash desk at De Speelweide.
Tickets for containers
Tickets for the container programme are only availble at the container cash desk during the festival.
Online ticketsale
Tickets will remain available online until just before the start of the performance. If the performance is not sold out, you can also buy a ticket on the spot via your phone.
Give an Encore
If you purchase a ticket via our website, we offer you the option of buying a ticket for those who don’t have the financial means to buy one themselves. Together with the Quiet Groningen Foundation, we shall make sure it will be used well and reaches someone who can really use your support.
European Festival Forest
Buy a ticket for a performance and plant trees for a better climate? It's possible! Together with European Festival Forest, we are planting as many trees as possible to combat climate change. The trees are planted in Iceland by the Icelandic Forest Service. A tree can already be planted for €2. You can make a donation in the Noorderzon ticket shop. 30% of this donation goes to the European Festival Forest.

Tickets for Noorderzon 2024 can be bought online via this website (with the exception of part of the children's and container programme). Tickets remain available online until right before the start of the performance, so you can also - if still available - buy a ticket on the spot via your phone.
You can also visit De Winkel in the Noorderplantsoen during the festival. Here you will find tickets, information, merchandise and more.
For the smaller performances of the children's programme and the short performances in the containers, tickets can only be bought on the day of the festival at the entrance of the relevant location. These are therefore not available online or at The Shop. -
For online ticket sales, Noorderzon works with e-tickets. You will not receive your tickets by post. You will receive your e-tickets immediately after purchase in the inbox of the e-mail address you used to purchase the tickets. Have you not received anything after 24 hours? Check your spam box, make sure the payment was successful and that you entered the correct e-mail address. Are all these things correct and have you still not received anything? Then contact us at tickets@noorderzon.nl.
To gain access to the performance, show your printed e-ticket or show the e-ticket on your phone. In the latter case, please make sure your screen is as bright as possible so that we can scan your ticket properly. Please note: the e-ticket is sent as a PDF attachment - the e-mail itself is not a valid admission ticket!

Yes! From the 22d of July, the entire Noorderzon programme has gone on sale.
Exception: for the container programme and the smaller performances and do-things of the children's programme, you can only buy tickets during the festival on the day itself at the relevant location.
For the programme at the Apollo, Callisto and De Raaf you do not need a ticket. -

During the festival, tickets may become available every day at 2PM for certain (sometimes previously sold out) performances. So keep an eye on our website and social media (@noorderzonnl)! Additionally, there is also an exchange board at De Winkel where you can offer and ask for tickets.

In the southern part of the park you will find a programme especially for our youngest visitors. Tickets for the performances can be bought via our website. For the smaller performances and do-things, you can only buy a ticket on the spot during the festival in the form of a token, at De Kleine Beer.

Yes, you can visit all concerts at Apollo, Callisto and De Raaf without a ticket.

Your pet may come with you to the festival site in the Noorderplantsoen, but not inside performances. An exception applies to assistance dogs. Please report this in advance when purchasing your ticket via tickets@noorderzon.nl. Water for an assistance dog will always be provided.

- Per person, you can order a maximum of six (6) tickets.
- There is no admission after a show has started, so please be on time.
- Tickets can only be refunded or traded when a performance is cancelled.
- Our programme is – unless otherwise specified – intended for adults.
- Discounts cannot be combined.
- The festival programme, show times and duration are subject to change.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Our performances have unreserved seating: you can choose a place on the spot.
