Network Arts & Culture Groningen

The Network Arts & Culture Groningen is a cross-disciplinary collaboration among fourteen cultural institutions in the city and province of Groningen, focused on networking and lobbying to enhance the overall cultural infrastructure in the region. Together, we strive for a stronger cultural sector through advocacy at the national, provincial, and municipal levels. In doing so, we promote Groningen as the cultural center of the Northern Netherlands and provide requested and unsolicited advice on the state of the sector.

Through these efforts, the Network Arts & Culture Groningen aims to represent the interests of all cultural institutions in the region and strengthen the position of the entire sector.

The Network Arts & Culture Groningen includes: Eurosonic Noorderslag, Grand Theatre, Groninger Museum, Het Houten Huis, Jonge Harten, Kunstpunt Groningen, NITE/Club Guy and Roni, Noorderlicht, Noorderlingen, Noorderzon, Noord Nederlands Orkest, Noordstaat, Noordwoord, Vera/Simplon.

*Cultural pillars are institutions designated by the province and municipality. They are producing/performing organizations with (national) structural funding that play a leading role in their cultural discipline.
