Park regulations
Welcome (back) at Noorderzon! We ask you to adhere to these rules, to keep it as fun and safe as possible for everyone:
- The festival area in the Noorderplantsoen is freely accessible.
- The opening hours of the festival are 1 PM - midnight. (North and Middle are opening at 15.00).
- After 1 PM bicycling and motorized traffic is prohibited. However, you are at all times perfectly free to bicycle, walk or drive around the festival grounds.
- Noorderzon is cashless: you can only pay by debit card.
- Bringing consumptions into performance venues is not allowed.
- Each year, Noorderzon relies on the help of hundreds of volunteers – please respect our crew.
- Noorderzon uses reusable hard cups. Please return these at one of our bars or collection points.
- Dispose of your litter in the designated bins, obviously except for the reusable hard cups!
- Please respect the Noordeplantsoen neighbourhood and local residents when leaving the festival area.
- Respect each other, give each other some space. At times it can be quite busy at Noorderzon, so keep an eye out for each other as well as for our kids and four-legged friends.
- Nuisance is to be reported to Noorderzon security or staff with recognisable workwear. Do not try to solve disturbance situations on your own. Surveillance is taken care of by both uniformed as well as non-uniformed Noorderzon staff. In case of misconduct the appropriate authorities will be notified. This may lead to a complete or partial festival area ban. Criminal offences are always reported to the police.
- Please follow the instructions and directions of our Noorderzon crew, traffic wardens and security.
- Photos and film recordings of visitors may be made on the festival grounds. Our organisation reserves the right to use these images for promotional purposes.
- Performing or vending on festival grounds is strictly by invitation only.
- Entering our festival area in the Noorderplantsoen is at your own risk.
