Parking

Of course, we advise everyone to come by public transport, by bicycle or on foot. When you travel by car, we advise you to park in Parking Boterdiep or Parking Circus. These car parks are the closest to the Noorderplantsoen. For more information regarding parking facilities and rates of Parking Boterdiep or Parking Circus we kindly direct you to the website of our municipality.

The city of Groningen also has an excellent Park+Ride system. There are large parking lots in and around the city. From here special city busses will take you to the city center and back. Click here for more information about these P+R sites. (Dutch only)

Are you coming by bike? There is ample opportunity to park your bicycle in bicycle racks. If you prefer to use a free guarded bicycle shed, you can do so at the following locations, of which the Oude Boteringestraat (Public Library) is closest to the Noorderplantsoen.

There is a disabled parking strip on the north side of the Noorderplantsoen, near the Nieuwe Boteringestraat.
