A spectacular visual masterpiece of bodies and clay

To call Baro d’evel a circus company would be like calling Björk a pop star. Forget everything you think you know, and start again. Qui Som? (Who Are We?) is a joyful dream journey into our inner worlds, into the very idea of what it is to be a human. A complex and intricate total work of art combining humor and playful self-reflection with dance and theatre.

Qui Som? (Who Are We?) is a joyful dream journey into our inner worlds, into the very idea of what it is to be a human. A high-energy explosion of humor and playful self-reflection with dance and theatre.

Qui Som? is a playful world made in clay andbodies, an explosion of colour and form bringing together actors, dancers, musicians, acrobats, clowns and ceramists. A world oflaughter, vertigo and wonder, built on the need for community, dialogue, energy and poetry. “Qui som?” explores the transformative power of dreams, an imaginative force as a doorway to embark on obscure journeys, explore secret lands.

In the words of Camille Decourtye and Blai Mateu Trias, the directors of the company: “We like to think of the show as a ceremony, a re-enchantment, inviting all these disciplines, having these animals, these children, these artists on stage, to create shows that take the viewer into an inner labyrinth, into a waking dream”.

A total work of art, woven with the fine threads of fantasy, poetry and absurdism.
