Baro d’evel is a French-Catalan performance company led by Camille Decourtye and Blaï Mateu Trias. Founded in 2001 and jointly directed since 2006, the company is acclaimed for its unique fusion of movement, acrobatics, voice, music, visual art, and the presence of animals on stage in a modern contemporary way. Rooted in long-term exploration, their process weaves together diverse disciplines to create immersive, poetic experiences.
Recognised for its bold and interdisciplinary approach, the company has been invited to major international festivals such as the Festival d’Avignon and Barcelona’s Grec Festival, where their work has received both critical acclaim and public resonance.
