We follow the creative process of spoken-word artist Amara van der Elst, DJ and visual artist Mei Oele and filmmaker Juliette Dominicus. How does the concealed past affect their current lives? How can they, as the third generation, propagate what it means to be Indonesian? After the film there is the opportunity to talk to the directors Sven Peetoom and Juliette Dominicus.
