Marlene has now managed to conquer her own place within the Dutch music scene. Together with her guitarist Bernard Gepken and bassist/keyboardist Reyer Zwart, she will perform her most beautiful songs at Noorderzon. Let yourself be carried away in a unique listening experience in which Marlene sings about the magic of the north.

In the autumn of 2023 Marlene’s long awaited new album is to be released followed by a theatre tour. However, on the 21st of August you can catch her at Noorderzon. Together with her guitarist Bernard Gepken and bass /keyboard player Reyer Zwart she will perform some of her finest songs. Immerse yourself in a unique listening experience during which Marlene sings about the magic of the North and about how in a certain sense the earthly Groningen dialect is actually fully compatible with temporary indie folk pop.
