An identity crisis in Asia

We can’t really tell you what this is about. Why the mystery? Well, we can’t really tell you that either. So, what can we tell you? We can tell you that Made in China 2.0 is an intimate and unexpected solo about creative risk-taking, in which Chinese theatre director Wang Chong finds himself alone on stage to present a personal manifesto about making art at home and abroad. A ‘peek through a key-hole’ performance with as many questions as answers. Made in China 2.0 is not only an illuminating portrait of family and popular culture, but also a moving examination of the role of the artist and provocateur in uncertain times.

A play that can only be seen live, and should be seen by everyone that is lucky enough to have the chance
