Beautifully poised film celebrating the beauty of fragile us

This year’s edition of Noorderzon not only features Back to Back Theatre’s hailed stage play The Shadow Whose Prey They Hunter Becomes, but also its debut feature-length film based on this stage play! The darkly humorous Shadow tells the story of a group of activists who hold a public meeting about the impact of artificial intelligence. As the meeting unravels, they discover the greatest threat to their future is already in the room...

When artificial intelligence overtakes human intelligence, how will people be treated?
