A melodic jazzy journey through surprise-ridden rhythmic landscapes

De Beren Gieren (Dutch for The Bears Howl) consists of three talented musicians from Belgium. The trio belongs to the crème de la crème of the jazz scene and have been making quite a name for themselves since 2009. They are known for their unique sound, sprinkling melodies with complex sound layers. Their soundscapes take you through rhythmic landscapes, surprising you with all that passes by. The trio plays the piano, synth, bass and drums with everything they got. Serene reflections and epic wanderings are alternated with sing-alongs. They have been invited to perform at major events such as North Sea Jazz, Trondheim Jazzfest and ESNS, now they will visit Groningen for Noorderzon!
