Sensitive songs full of silent hope for a better worl

The Weather Station, the project of the Canadian songwriter Tamara Lindeman, has been releasing magical folk music since 2006. Reflecting the world surrounding her, her songs are about the climate crisis, estrangement, conflicts and love. The tiniest details move her: a chirping small bird, a reflection in the water, the colour of a rising sun. It all comes together in her music, enveloped by her soft dreamlike voice, her piano and a sporadic detour with jazzy influences. Her latest album How Is It That I Should Look At The Stars was welcomed with open arms, the renowned music magazine Pitchfork rated it with an 8+. Expect a magical concert, with lyrics and songs which will stay in your mind for quite some time.

For about sixteen years, The Weather Station has been considering the world around it, in beautiful songs full of references to Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell.
