Each evening something special happens at Noorderplantsoen’s central pond. The WERC Art Collective lovingly and proudly passes the ‘beam’ baton on to a couple of equally talented friends. This year it’s Wendy Eggen, Daniel Alsina-Santos/BigBSTRD, VIDEOBAND and Isabela Manea’s turn to beam their loveliest creations on the two fountains in the central pond. Aqua Luma, conceived in 2009 by Studio Frank & Lisa, was at the time performed by WERC (among others). So now we have indeed come full circle.
