What is Noorderzon going to look like this year?

This year Noorderzon takes place in the Noorderplantsoen (the city park) and at various locations in Downtown Groningen: Forum Groningen, Grand Theatre, Lutherse Kerk, Machinefabriek, Museum aan de A, Vera, VRIJDAG Theater and Usva.

In the northern part of the festival site, you will find mirror tent Pollux, Margriet van Weenen in collaboration with Kunstpunt Groningen and a smaller tent Nova, open-air music stage Apollo, along the pond terraces Paradijsvogel and De Raaf and a small stage for music: Podium De Raaf. In the southern part, you will find an area especially for children: De Speelweide, music stage Callisto, performance venue Castor and several terraces. Divided over the park you will find a diverse range of food and drinks. There are also containers at four locations: at Noord next to Nova, on the Leliesingel, near the Paradijsvogel terrace by the pond, and towards the south at the junction with the Maartje Bospad.

You will find our Shop at the head of the pond in the Noorderplantsoen. Our well-informed ticket sellers are here for you with info & tickets. You will also find Noorderzon merchandise, Vera Artdivision, Bookstore Riemer, NAIS products and Jeanet Metselaar designs. 

De Winkel is open from 2pm - 10pm on weekdays and from 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Yes! This year's NoorderZondag is just unusually the last day of Noorderzon. What to expect? A day with a full program as you are used to, with extra attention for local amateur artists. So come see performances, play games, dance and enjoy the last rays of sunshine at our Noorderzon for the very last time this year.

And in addition, this year we are collaborating with cultural institutions to whet the cultural appetite after Noorderzon. We are doing this through AfterZon.
