Hit the North Presents: Helen Jewett

Helen Jewett combines Post-Punk with Shoegaze in an infectious way. Despite their small line-up, the three music students from Zwolle fill every venue with raw energy. Their strong live set and original sound make you imagine yourself back to the post-punk scene of the 80s.

Hit the North is the talent development program for artists in the Northern Netherlands. Participants of Hit the North follow intensive bootcamps, workshops and coaching sessions focused on artistic growth and business skills. The goal is for young talent to advance to regional and national stages after this program. One of the performances is at ESNS and one of the Liberation Festivals in the north of the Netherlands.
