Judy Blank

You may know her from her participation in the Dutch TV programme De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland, where she came second. Or from her performances she did with Seasick Steve, which definitely meant her breakthrough. We are now more than a decade on and a lot has happened in Judy's musical career. For instance, she left for New Orleans and Nashville to play at ‘open mic nights’. She became the talk of the town and success followed. In the meantime, a lot of records have gone by and she comes to Groningen to perform in the Pollux with her quirky sound, recognisable lyrics and a good dose of groove.
