Pachyman

When he moved to Los Angeles from Puerto Rico, multi-instrumentalist Pachy García (Pachyman) found his old love of early Jamaican music again. He taught himself to play drums and fanatically passed through thrift stores for cheap studio equipment. Not much later, his studio 333 House was born, where he brought old dub reggae and ska to life while wrenching (and livestreaming on Instagram). In addition to these genres of music, Pachy is a big music lover and also a singer and musician with LA-based noiserock band Prettiest Eyes. In America, Pachyman was already taken in tow by the musicians of Khruangbin and Black Pumas, where he got to do the support and surprised many with his summery sounds. In his suitcase all the sounds of Puerto Rico, Los Angeles and Jamaica and he brings them with him to Groningen.
