Norwegian super-indie theatre makers De Utvalgte return to Noorderzon with a true tale for our times, a dive into the darker corners of the internet, a theatricalised game built around identities and fantasies. In a mixture of documentary and fiction, Snorre and Torbjørn, two men in their middle-years, pursue with open honesty and humour new angles in their lives around the question of masculine energy. Does it really look like the clichés we all know so well? Isn’t there rather more to it than that?

De Utvalgte is an autonomous theater company that has left its mark over the past twenty-five years on the pursuit of new forms, but also new content in the performing arts. Today, the company consists of Kari Holtan, Boya Bøckman, Torbjørn Davidsen, Anne Holtan, Ida Holthe Lid, Vibeke Lie and also collaborate with other artists. De Utvalgte is involved in contemporary theatre and their performances move in the border area between theatre, visual arts and performance. De Utvalgte is the first in the world to develop a new technology that uses 3D film scenes and stories.
